Founded in 1978, SHARABATI DENIM is a world-renowned manufacturer of denim and plain woven fabrics. It also owns a premium denim apparel brand with strong market influence across Europe and Africa. The company officially partnered with SUNTECH in 2017. Over the past decade, it has purchased more than 40 units of equipment. By adopting SUNTECH’s Automated Material Handling & Storage Solutions, SHARABATI DENIM has successfully addressed bottlenecks in material warehousing and handling, boosted operational and management efficiency, cut labor requirements, and achieved substantial cost reduction.
As a large integrated textile mill with an annual fabric output of tens of millions of meters, SHARABATI was once confronted with severe bottlenecks in warehousing and internal material logistics. Before deploying intelligent equipment, the factory stored 120 heavy warp beams on flat ground, occupying a massive area of valuable production space. Within weaving, dyeing and finishing workshops, the handling and stacking of 1.5–2 ton dye barrels and heavy warp beams previously relied heavily on manual labor and conventional machinery. Such operations came with multiple drawbacks: difficult turning maneuverability, strenuous manual work, low material transfer efficiency, frequent warehouse congestion and potential safety hazards. These issues significantly hampered the smooth operation of its large-scale integrated production system.
Faced with its large production scale and stringent delivery requirements, SHARABATI was in urgent need of a comprehensive warehousing and material handling solution featuring high reliability, great flexibility and substantially improved space utilization. On the warehousing side, the factory required equipment to enable maximum high-density storage within limited floor space alongside intelligent and fast warp beam retrieval. For material transport and stacking operations, the equipment needed a compact, agile design suitable for tight workshop environments, heavy load capacity of 2 tons or above, intuitive operation and easy maintenance. It also had to incorporate an effortless steering system and high-performance safety brakes, allowing a single operator to safely and accurately stack heavy warp beams and dye pallets, and move them efficiently across different workshops.
SHARABATI ultimately selected SUNTECH and maintained deep collaboration with the brand for nearly a decade. This long-term partnership stems from SUNTECH’s outstanding reputation in the global textile machinery industry, rigorous quality control standards, and reliable local service guarantees. SUNTECH’s solutions deliver high quality and durability comparable to top European brands, while offering compelling cost performance and strong custom R&D capabilities. More importantly, SUNTECH maintains a responsive customer demand mechanism. The team continuously upgrades and iterates existing technologies and hardware based on customer feedback, backed by an exclusive full-lifecycle after-sales system and localized support. This means the client can reach our team anytime, ensuring that equipment which has been in service for years remains stable with straightforward maintenance. All these strengths have earned long-term trust from SHARABATI’s procurement and logistics management teams.
