With over 50 years of textile industry experience, VARDHMAN TEXTILES has become India's largest vertically integrated textile manufacturer, achieving a turnover of over $1 billion. VARDHMAN and SUNTECH first connected in 2023. That same year, after conducting a site visit to our company, SUNTECH decided to embark on a collaborative partnership with us. Subsequently, they made continuous investments in automated material handling equipment. This equipment has significantly enhanced the efficiency of warp beam handling and large-batch transportation processes. Meanwhile, it has also led to labor savings, bringing tangible benefits to the cooperation.
As a leading textile manufacturer in India, VARDHMAN has been at the forefront of industry development. The expansion of market demand has driven strategic changes. On one hand, VARDHMAN needs to expand its production facilities and increase production capacity. On the other hand, it must continuously advance modernization, particularly in the automation of production assets. In the weaving and material handling processes, the greatest challenge lies in the difficulty of synchronizing production rhythms, resulting in low efficiency in process coordination and labor-intensive, time-consuming operations. In the face of intensifying market competition, there is an urgent need to optimize production processes through technological upgrades to enhance overall efficiency in the weaving preparation phase, reduce labor costs, and improve the work satisfaction of factory personnel.
To adapt to the new phase of development planning and fully prepare for the new factory, VARDHMAN hopes to introduce flexible, efficient, and stable warp beam and fabric roll handling solutions that can completely replace old equipment, solve inefficiency issues, and perfectly match existing production lines to support the rapid commissioning of the new factory. VARDHMAN aims to use these systems to meet daily weaving preparation requirements, including warp beam processing and large fabric roll transportation, while maintaining stable efficiency and reducing labor and cost expenditures, thereby achieving the overall goal of cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
VARDHMAN chose to partner with SUNTECH because of its professional capabilities, extensive experience, and ability to respond quickly to customer needs in the field of textile machinery. The automated material handling solutions provided by SUNTECH offer more efficient transportation methods, enhancing efficiency while reducing labor costs and optimizing workflow in the weaving workshop. Additionally, SUNTECH demonstrated strong technical service capabilities and localized support, enabling VARDHMAN to achieve seamless integration from solution planning to implementation. This collaboration not only helped the client accelerate the commissioning of the new factory but also laid a solid foundation for the comprehensive advancement of its automation and modernization initiatives.
