CRYSTAL INTERNATIONAL GROUP LIMITED is a leading global apparel manufacturing company with significant influence. The group continuously expands its global footprint, leveraging its robust supply chain capabilities and powerful product development system. It operates 23 modern production bases in Vietnam, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and other locations. Its product portfolio covers six core areas: casual wear, denim, underwear, sweaters, sportswear and outdoor apparel, and knitwear. It is a key strategic partner of numerous international fashion and sports brands, including Adidas, Nike, PUMA, Lululemon, and The North Face, demonstrating its profound strength and international influence in the apparel manufacturing industry. In 2023, CRYSTAL met and began collaborating with SUNTECH, jointly purchasing multiple fabric inspection machines to improve inspection efficiency. In 2025, CRYSTAL repurchased these machines, which further increased product pass rates and reduced complaint rates.
As leading global brands increasingly demand higher standards for quality, consistency, and delivery time, CRYSTAL faces greater pressure in quality control. Particularly in the fabric inspection stage, the existing manual inspection methods are inefficient and highly susceptible to variations in operator experience, easily leading to missed inspections and misjudgments. Meanwhile, rising labor costs and the reluctance of young workers to enter traditional manufacturing have resulted in labor shortages for the factory amidst capacity expansion. To ensure production stability, reduce reliance on manual labor, and improve production line standardization, CRYSTAL urgently needs to upgrade its existing fabric inspection equipment and introduce a more efficient system to support the stringent quality requirements of its multi-category, multi-brand operations.
CRYSTAL requires a high-precision, continuously operating fabric inspection system capable of supporting various fabric types to replace traditional manual inspection. This system should be able to handle fabrics of different materials and weaving methods, meeting the stringent defect detection rates of international brands. With the expansion needs, the equipment should support faster and more stable fabric roll inspection speeds, alleviating manual labor pressure. This will improve quality management and facilitate unified management standards across multiple production bases. Reducing reliance on operator skills, shortening training cycles, and improving equipment sustainability are key objectives for CRYSTAL. They wanted this equipment to seamlessly integrate into their existing production system, ensuring consistency across different factories and meeting the stringent quality requirements of international brands like Adidas, Nike, and Lululemon.
After evaluating several suppliers, CRYSTAL ultimately chose SUNTECH as its partner for upgrading its fabric inspection equipment. SUNTECH's products met CRYSTAL's requirements in terms of functionality, accuracy, and automation, while remaining within their large-scale expansion budget, representing the optimal balance between technological capabilities and return on investment. They also highly value SUNTECH's stability, durability, and testing accuracy. The equipment's consistent performance over extended periods was a crucial factor in their selection. SUNTECH has a well-established overseas market presence and a mature agency network, enabling it to provide timely technical communication, maintenance support, and after-sales service.
