DNM Textile for Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing, headquartered in Turkey and with a production facility in Damietta, Egypt, was established in 2011. DNM is an integrated company specializing in high-quality denim, supplying denim and fabrics to global brands. Its current annual production capacity is 30 million meters, and with the commissioning of a new plant, its annual capacity will reach 50 million meters. In 2019, DNM began collaborating with SUNTECH, purchasing several pieces of equipment, including beam stackers and electric warp beam trolleys. This has successfully saved factory space and labor costs while improving efficiency.
With the completion of DNM's new factory and the continued expansion of its production capacity, storage needs in the weaving process have increased significantly. The existing traditional stacking and storage methods take up a lot of space and require a lot of manual labor. Especially under the high-intensity production pace, equipment scheduling efficiency and space management have become key factors limiting capacity utilization. DNM also has extremely high requirements for cleanliness and safety in its production environment. Traditional manual handling methods are not only labor-intensive but also pose certain safety risks, making them difficult to meet its modern production management standards. To further optimize its production layout, DNM sought to effectively free up space through automated equipment to support future equipment additions and capacity expansion.
DNM required an efficient, safe, and stable storage system, with particular emphasis on load capacity, smooth operation, and ease of use. They hoped the system would enable intelligent management of warp beams within a limited space, minimizing safety risks. Furthermore, the equipment needed to ensure efficient integration across the entire process, promoting continuous and standardized production. Furthermore, given the new factory's emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection, DNM placed higher demands on the equipment's energy consumption and durability.
After evaluating multiple equipment suppliers, DNM ultimately selected Suntech as its partner. Suntech boasts extensive manufacturing and project delivery experience in the global textile machinery sector, particularly in providing proven solutions for warp beam storage and material handling systems. Suntech also boasts a comprehensive service system and rapid response mechanism, providing DNM with comprehensive support from design, installation and commissioning to local after-sales service. After in-depth discussions and on-site evaluations, DNM expressed high recognition for Suntech's technical expertise, customization capabilities, and professional services, and considers it a key partner in promoting the intelligentization of its factory.
