Background
Founded in 1980, VINATEX is Vietnam's largest and most influential textile and garment conglomerate. The group boasts over 150 member companies and subsidiaries, employing over 100,000 people. Its operations encompass the entire value chain, from fiber, yarn, and fabric production to garment manufacturing, trade, and retail. With factories across multiple provinces and cities in Vietnam, VINATEX annually produces hundreds of millions of meters of fabric and tens of millions of garments, making it a key pillar of Vietnam's textile and garment exports. VINATEX not only holds a significant position domestically but also, through its strong industrial chain integration capabilities, has become a leading force in driving the development of Vietnam's textile industry. Its products are exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide, and the group maintains long-term partnerships with internationally renowned brands such as H&M, ZARA, Uniqlo, Decathlon, Levi's, PUMA, and Converse.

VINATEX is committed to building an internationally competitive textile supply chain with advanced equipment, high-quality fabrics, and efficient manufacturing capabilities. In recent years, as the international market continues to demand higher quality and sustainable production, VINATEX has been accelerating equipment upgrades and automation transformation, actively promoting the modernization and internationalization of the entire industry chain. Therefore, in 2016, VINATECH began collaborating with SUNTECH to achieve high-precision and efficient fabric inspection, improve pass rates, ensure standardized packaging and transportation safety, optimize material transportation on the shop floor, and reduce worker workload.
Honored Customer Journey
VINATEX and SUNTECH began their collaboration in 2016. With intensifying global market competition, VINATEX's factories needed to continuously improve production efficiency and product quality to meet the high standards of top international brands. Through numerous trade show discussions and factory visits, SUNTECH's expertise in textile machinery manufacturing earned VINATEX's high recognition. SUNTECH provided VINATEX's factories with a variety of intelligent and automated equipment, helping them continuously optimize production processes and increase efficiency.

SUNTECH always prioritizes customer satisfaction and continuously enhances its VIP service system. We consider VINATEX one of our most valued customers. To date, the two companies have successfully collaborated on numerous projects across Vietnam. These collaborations include fabric inspection machines, automated packing solutions, and electric warp beam trolleys, achieving automation and efficiency across all production processes while reducing costs and time. As VINATEX promotes the upgrading of more factories to modern production lines, the strategic partnership between the two companies will continue to deepen, jointly leading the digital and automated transformation of Vietnam's textile and garment industry.
Challenges & Why SUNTECH

SUNTECH Solutions to Help Out
Fabric Inspection & Automated Packing Solutions

SUNTECH learned that VINATEX's factories were facing rising labor costs in Vietnam, low manual fabric inspection efficiency, and large errors. Coupled with downstream brands' high-quality requirements for finished garments, fabric quality control rates were impacting raw material losses and production costs. Furthermore, packaging efficiency was low, and fabric damage was prone to customer complaints. SUNTECH provided fabric inspection and automated packing solutions. The fabric inspection machine uses a four-point system to increase inspection speed, accurately record defects, and determine quality, eliminating manual misses and false inspections, improving quality control rates, reducing losses, and lowering costs. Furthermore, the fully automatic packing machine automates roll packing, providing precise and efficient packaging through automatic film wrapping and labeling, protecting fabric rolls, and ensuring delivery quality.

Automated Material Handling Solutions

We also learned that VINATEX relied on manual labor for daily handling of warp beams and fabric rolls, which was time-consuming and inefficient, impacting workshop logistics and overall production efficiency, and increasing labor costs. SUNTECH provided VINATEX with electric warp beam trolleys. Its more compact structure is more suitable for weaving workshops with limited space. It has a large load capacity and is easy to operate. It can replace manual handling, improve transportation efficiency, reduce labor intensity, and optimize logistics processes to improve overall production efficiency.
