During discussions with the client, it was learned that the factory heavily relied on manual fabric inspection, which was slow and prone to missing defects. These missed defects directly impacted downstream customer satisfaction and could even lead to complaints. Numerous process interruptions, frequent worker handling, and a slow overall pace were also issues. Slight variations in packaging methods among different employees affected brand image and end-product presentation.
Addressing CAPRICORNIO's core pain points, we provided them with an AI Visual Inspection & Automated Packing Line, creating a streamlined intelligent production chain.
The AI intelligent fabric inspection system is equipped with industrial-grade high-definition line scan cameras that capture and identify defects in real time, automatically marking and classifying them, and automatically generating defect maps and inspection reports. The detection accuracy is ≥85%, improving fabric inspection efficiency by at least 50%. This not only increases speed but also enhances data transparency, providing a reliable digital foundation for quality management.
The fully automated packaging system improves efficiency and achieves standardized appearance, completing the packaging of 7 rolls in as little as 1 minute, increasing efficiency by approximately 7 times. It automatically measures the diameter and width of the fabric rolls, saving material usage, automatically labels, and can interface with ERP systems for intelligent tracking. The entire process requires no manual intervention, reducing costs and error rates. Seamless integration between fabric inspection and packaging significantly reduces material turnover and waiting time.
