In January 2026, the TAL APPAREL team from Hong Kong visited SUNTECH for an exchange and tour. As a garment manufacturing company with extremely high demands on production efficiency and on-site management, TAL APPAREL's visit focused on the possibilities of upgrading their existing fabric relaxing process, with particular attention to the overall optimization of the fabric pre-treatment stage.
During the discussion, the client mentioned that with increased production volume and a more compact workshop layout, the limitations of the traditional fabric relaxing process in terms of space occupation and time scheduling were becoming increasingly apparent. The long standing time required not only increased space pressure but also affected the production rhythm and process flow. Instead of simply increasing the number of machines, TAL APPAREL hoped to free up workshop space and better integrate the fabric processing stage into the overall production plan through process adjustments.
Based on this need, we focused on discussing the application of roll-to-roll fabric relaxing with the client. By changing the method of fabric relaxation to a more continuous and compact form of pre-treatment, it helps to simplify intermediate steps and allows the fabric to move more smoothly to the next process after relaxation. This adjustment not only optimizes the on-site workflow but also provides greater flexibility for subsequent cutting and production scheduling.
